Transition at Avanti Park School will take different forms for different year groups, but it is recognised and honoured by the school that transitions into and out of the school and, to a lesser extent, between classes, are significant events for children and families and need careful and sensitive handling to enable a smooth start and rapid settling in. A child’s whole school experience can be coloured by their first or subsequent transitions and as such, we aim to provide a clear and supported transition process for all.
